My Comment: If Yasin Malik’s wife is to be believed, he is being tortured in his illness. If it is true it is a gross violation of human rights. Why Indian national media is not taking it up? They have not even run the news of his illness. Yasin Malik is a pretty strong rebel. Media is not supposed to cover state soldiers and leaders only. They have a duty towards the society, and the rebels perform a very important function of snatching civilization from the barbarism of the dictators, who arrive in disguise in all forms of governments, democratic or autocratic.
