I have been hearing Sheena Bora tapes all this evening. Whatever I have heard till now doesn’t make me reach a conclusion on criminality of Mr. and Mrs. Mukerjea. Nevertheless, what I have reached a conclusion on is the relationship between Rahul Mukherjea and his parents. He didn’t trust them, and they didn’t treat him more than a kid. He would easily catch aberrations in the talks, but, of course, he had no other source of crosschecking except cross-questioning his parents. A message for all parents from these conversations: Just because your kids were fooled when they were kids doesn’t mean they remain kids forever. And message for kids: When you grow up, develop your own contacts and resources, especially when you don’t trust your parents.
